Since childhood Becky has been interested in drawing, painting, creating new projects, photography, sewing/designing with textiles and garden design.  The subjects of her artwork reflect an interest in nature and people.

She was an Artist in Residence at River Oaks Square Art Center from 1985 - 1991.  During this time she participated in group shows, and her studio at River Oaks was open to the public for viewing of artwork in progress.  With River Oaks Square Arts Center planning renovations and rebuilding of the art studios she left to build her own studio at her new home.  Following the birth of her third child she found the home studio more convenient for early morning and late night painting hours.

Becky has been selling original paintings and paintings by commission since 1982 and has worked in landscape design since 1985.  She currently is with a Landscape Architecture firm and is a designer, artist, project manager and publicist.  Her work has been featured in Southern Living Magazine.  She has designed numerous logos, t-shirts, brochures, and other publications as well as backdrops for a local ballet company.
